Beautiful unique bonsai collections made by Takanori Aiba may alternate to beautify your home

Process of growing bonsai trees may consuming time and patience, but how if this complex tasks combined to build scale models like as windmills, lighthouses and even some mini sculptures? One of Japanese artists who keen on growing bonsai, Takanori Aiba, have made this exciting idea. Takanori Aiba is a former illustrator maze who patiently changed the usual bonsai into an awesome crafts and art.

Takanori Aiba after quit his job as an illustrator for fashion magazines in Japan, POPYE, for about 10 years he spent his time to create mini world on his bonsai collection. Aiba creates his miniature buildings that  cling and resting on the branches branches bonsai tree. This Japanese artist only uses materials such as paper, copper wire, clay, plastic, plaster, resin and acrylic paint in his work. He spent many hours in creating models of buildings using bonsai trees.

Takanori Aiba seem never tired and patiently in making his masterpiece. The model of building that he created is very detailed and the details such as bridges, balconies and towers. Using bonsai tree as a foundation, the dioramas was inspired to follow a unique form of each bonsai tree so as to create landscapes and buildings in the form of vertical and horizontal, forming a harmony like building following the actual landscape.

Some Aiba's creations in the beginning is very dependent on the function of bonsai trees. Bonsai must meet the strength requirements like holding the weight of the tree, the branches and leaves of bonsai are designed sticking out of the roof of the building and stuck down. Each tree branch adorned with terraces, umbrellas, small lights, creating exceptional residential just like the story of the film Swiss Family Robinson.

In his work, Aiba use high technique to build a miniature life of the people that surround the small trees.The technique is often used Takanori Aiba include pruning, root reduction, defoliation, grafting, etc for the treatment of the bonsai. Aiba describes the bonsai art form as an experimental approach to change the style of depicting the beauty of modern bonsai. His works were considered to be in accordance with the spiritual side of man and nature in miniature. With trained skills according to his some many year experiences, he put his mind to creating three-dimensional works of art, combining the knowledge and experience of illustration and architectural mazes. In choosing plant and flower, I prefer alive plant to artificial plant but for some reason I like artificial too. I like artificial plant when I want to decorate my home and effortless on maintenance but if come to benefit of alive plant that good to purifying the air so I prefer alive plant. Well alive plant also bring a good energy to your home make your home feel cozy. 

Air filter plants are great in purifying air so they are good for someone with asthma, allergies, or just likes the idea. I also got information that some plants also reduce radiation from some electronic devices. Here are some air purifying plants that you can choose to adding beauty and as air filter for your home:

1. Bamboo Palm: 

Bamboo palm is a plant name applied to certain genera and species of palm trees. They are unrelated to true bamboos.

• Chamaedorea
• Dypsis, specifically Dypsis lutescens, native to Madagascar
• Raphia, specifically Raphia vinifera, native to Nigeria

According to NASA, it removes formaldehyde and is also said to act as a natural humidifier.

2. Snake Plant (Sansevieria trifasciata or some people called it as mother in law tongue): 

Sansevieria trifasciata is a species of Sansevieria, native to tropical West Africa from Nigeria east to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is an evergreen herbaceous perennial plant forming dense stands, spreading by way of its creeping rhizome, which is sometimes above ground, sometimes underground. Its stiff leaves grow vertically from a basal rosette. Mature leaves are dark green with light gray-green cross-banding and usually range between 70–90 cm (27–36 in) long and 5–6 cm (2–2.5 in) wide.
It is commonly called the snake plant (not to be confused with the very similarly named "Snakeplant", Nassauvia serpens), because of the shape of its leaves, or mother-in-law's tongue because of their sharpness. In China, it is known as hǔwěilán (虎尾兰, Tiger's Tail Orchid). In Japan, it is called 'Tiger's Tail,(とらのお）'. In Brazil, it is commonly known as espada-de-são-jorge (sword-of-saint-george). Due to its blade-like shape, it is commonly associated with Ogun, the orisha of war (usually associated with Saint George), and is used in rituals to remove the evil eye. A yellow-tipped variant is known as espada-de-santa-barbara (sword-of-saint-barbara), and is associated with Iansan/Oya, the female orisha of storms (usually associated with the sword-bearing image of Saint Barbara). In Africa, the plant is used as a protective charm against evil or bewitchment

3. Areca Palm: 

Areca is a genus of about 50 species of palms in the family Arecaceae, found in humid tropical forests from China and India, across the Malay Archipelago, to the Solomon Islands. The generic name Areca is derived from a name used locally on the Malabar Coast of India. 

They said that Areca is one of the best air purifying plants for general air cleanliness.

4. Spider Plant: 

Chlorophytum comosum, often called the spider plant, is a flowering perennial herb. It is native to tropical and southern Africa, but has become naturalized in other parts of the world, including western Australia and San Francisco, California. Variegated forms in particular are used as houseplants.

Great indoor plant for removing carbon monoxide and other toxins or impurities. Spider plants are one of three plants NASA deems best at removing formaldehyde from the air.

5. Peace Lily: Peace lilies could be called the “clean-all.” They’re often placed in bathrooms or laundry rooms because they’re known for removing mold spores. Also known to remove formaldehyde and trichloroethylene.

6. Gerbera Daisy: Not only do these gorgeous flowers remove benzene from the air, they’re known to improve sleep by absorbing carbon dioxide and giving off more oxygen over night.

Terrarium the way to bring nature of mini garden inside your home

Living in big city make many people don't have chance to living in home with big yard. So for people who don't chance to live in big house, only live in flat or apartment and want to have their own garden even in small space then try to have mini garden. If our apartment has balcony then it is amazing because we can make our mini garden in balcony but if don't have that balcony so we have to make mini garden inside home. How to bring mini garden inside home? Just try to make your own terrarium. What is terrarium? 

Terrarium is the art of growing miniature plants to create natural ecosystems which typically use glass containers. Terrarium can be made in various sizes. Nature is what makes it very practical to be stored indoors. So even though our house is narrow and there is no yard, we can still have interaction with nature in everyday life.

Terrarium could be analogous as a mini ecosystem. So by creating and studying the workings of natural ecosystems, our understanding of the workings of nature as a whole can be awakened by itself. Our knowledge of how to care for nature is qualified will be honed by natural terrarium as we take care of what we have. 

By creating a terrarium we can reduce indoor pollution, improving the function of micro-climate, also get a fresh outlook and inner satisfaction when care, which of course is very beneficial for health of body and soul, so the quality of our lives will be a little better. 

Another thing that makes terrarium unique is the container. In every part of our life like every object made by plastic the process of formation and processing of waste is still very burdensome nature. But terrarium usually using glass as the container. The use of glass instead of plastic, of course be a breath of fresh air for nature, because this material is more environmentally friendly than plastic on everything. Is even more fun is that we can use containers such as bottles of jam used to make terrarium. That way, we have extended the life and increase the function of these materials before recycling.
