A Beautiful Design of Jeju Cocoon House

I like design but I didn't create a wonderful design idea, everything in my mine but I didn't make it real. Emm... Laziness? Yap.. maybe something like that or I'm only a consumer. Just sometime when I have to make something with my own taste by compulsorily the idea come out directly. Just sometime and I didn't create wonderful and beautiful as design of Jeju Cocoon House from Planning Korea. Ok here are....

Is that a beautiful and wonderful design right? That image which made me want to create this post. I found this post in fans page design idea. Then I gathering information about it to make my own post style. Jeju Cocoon House design located on the UNESCO heritage site of Jeju island, the seaside condominium, 'Jeju cocoon house' designed by Seoul-based practice planning Korea is a hybrid interpretation of volcanic topography and the cocoon of a living organism (interesting idea). Placed within the center of the home, a spherical element appears as though it has been generated by organic processes, with the physical properties of a naturally formed Eco-structure. Rounded ceilings and walls blur the typically formal enclosure creating an interior setting with unique perspectives to observe for art pieces, contain a library or hold parties. circular windows may be opened with fluctuating temperatures.
Yap... above is the explanation about the cocoon house design, but what I see is beautiful nature sun shine will always showering the house so it doesn't need to turn on the light in day time because there are many window glass on that design. Wide and tall window glass seem to be favorite for Korean house design because I saw in some movies which has setting with own house like Full House and The Secret Garden, the homes look wonderful with wide and tall window glass and the scenery views also amazing like beach in Full House and lake in Secret Garden. I like wide and tall window glass for my home too but I think if it is a lot of  wide and tall window it will spend more time or money to cleaning it (honest comment from me ^_^), isn't it? But if you don't care with time and money to clean it because you have many maids then wide and tall window glass should be a great idea if you have beautiful scenery in your house surrounding like beautiful garden, lake, pool, mountain, etc and you also have own large land. Why need own large land? Just see from the picture above, think about privacy (second honest comment from me). Yah... if you have house with many wide and tall window then you have to think about privacy because all of activities inside house gonna easy to be see from outside except you can cover all that window, but it will back to spend extra money for it. Yap.... don't thinking too much like me, you like it just do it because to build the house already spend a lot money who's care you are rich! And I like it then I post all pictures about Jeju Cocoon House. Here are... photos credit and courtesy to Planning Korea.

Amazing Sculptures Design

Since this blog talk about designs then I would like to discuss about arts too. Now I will talk about some amazing sculptures design which found from many sources. Then what is sculpture is? Before all 3 dimension shape that standing on the park, road side or other place I called those with statue, but now after visiting art site I'm understand statue and sculpture are different. Based on Wikipedia, sculpture  is the branch of the visual arts that operates in three dimensions. Traditionally, sculptural process have focused on carving and modelling, generally in stone, metal, and wood, but since modernism shifts in sculptural process have led to an almost complete freedom of materials and process. And here are I will share some beautiful and amazing sculpture design based on the creator.

Ilhan Koman is a one of innovative sculptors who was born in Edirne, Turkey, in 1921. David Cerny born December 15, 1967, he is a Czech Sculptor whose work can be seen in many location in Prague. His works tend to be controversial, many people called his works as bizare sculpture. Yes... Some of his works make me think why and little bit afraid but I like his work which has name Metalmorphosis. Metalmorphosis forms is a public fountain at an office park in the US city of Charlotte. The piece is a seven-metre tall structure with horizontally-moving stainless-steel plates which form, and re-form, a giant metal head.

Black and white bathroom ideas

I'm looking idea for bathroom, I never thinking that black will be good for bathroom. Well... black mean dark and I think it will not good for bathroom because it will make scary sensation but after I search some design sites and forums, I found that black will be look so elegance when mixing with right color. Well.. My eyes admire black and white bathroom ideas. I like the stripe wall of bathroom bellow but I love more if the mirror bigger than this.

It is elegance for me but I like wide mirror in my bathroom.

Picture above is the full view of the black and white stripe wall.

Here are some collection of black and white bathroom ideas that I collect from many sources. I want to give credit to the designer but I'm forgot from where I download these pictures. Some of them I download from  fans page of Art & Interior design. I collect in this site with reason, first because I like them, 2nd maybe someday they all can be my inspiration and I want to fulfill this abandon site too to make this site comeback to life and sharing. ^_^.

I like the ceramic motif of bathroom above and this bathroom also take sun light so no need light in day time.

I like the zend bathroom design above. It is minimalist but I don't know where is the bath-up because I didn't find the opposite of this view but I can see on the mirror the shower.

Ok... I think I already shared quite a lot pictures about black and white bathroom design. Hope can be your idea and thanks for visit.

L'auditorium di Oscar Niemeyer a Ravello-Modernism

I know there are many people who already talk about L'auditorium di Oscar Niemeyer a Ravello-Modernism, but it is new information for me. I was planned to cancel to write about it, but the eye of this building just winked to me. hahaha. I don't lie, I like the eye shape of this building. This building designed by a famous  Brazilian architect Oscar Ribeiro de Almeida Niemeyer Soares Filho (Oscar Niemeyer). Oscar Niemeyer is universally recognized as architectural genius of our day and he has succeeded in the mission to create a architectonic complex that was both simple an bold, able to stand out from but non contrast with its surroundings.
The Auditorium  is reached by means of an oblong square from which it’s possible to admire both the breathtaking panorama and the remarkable building. It just might go down in history as one of the most controversial architectural projects ever constructed on the Amalfi Coast. But the fact that it was completed – especially in a UNESCO World Heritage protected area – is a feat in itself. Now, amid the continuing controversy, it remains to be seen if the Auditorium will be utilized to is maximun potential as a setting for concerts and events during the winter months.
“It is not the right angle that attracts me, and even the straight line, hard, unyielding man-made. What attracts me is the free and sensual curve. The curve that I meet in the mountains of my country, in my favorite lady,  in the clouds of the sky and sea waves. It’s made of curves throughout the universe. The curved universe of Einstein.” (Oscar Niemeyer)
